So, after wandering around for a while and talking to several people, I finally found someone willing to apprentice me for the time being.  I'll be working in a boat yard, helping with repairs and such.  It makes me happy that my dad droned on a lot about boats.  I mean, everything's pretty much the same, minus technology.  Sailboat knowledge helps ( Read more... )

Awww, I had been having the best time with Widow Tweed and Tod, and now I'm in a place that's dirty and dark and ugh. It's sort of depressing, really. It's lucky I had my stuff with me.
